Synopsis

After the death of his grandmother, a Mexican biologist living in New York returns to his hometown nestled in the majestic monarch butterfly forests of Michoacán after many years. The journey forces him to confront past traumas and reflect on his new hybrid identity, launching him on a personal and spiritual metamorphosis.

Tras la muerte de su abuela un biólogo mexicano que vive en Nueva York regresa después de muchos años a su ciudad natal en Michoacán, un pueblo rodeado de bosques majestuosos donde habitan las mariposas monarca. El viaje lo obliga a enfrentar traumas pasados y a reflexionar sobre su nueva identidad híbrida, lanzándolo a una metamorfosis personal y espiritual.
